Quintessential Irish Linen is our core linen line. This stunning fabric is produced in local Mills in Northern Ireland which supplies high quality Irish linen for designers around the globe.
Quintessential Irish Linen 150 refers to the weight of this fabric. At 150gsm (grams per square meter) this is the perfect weight for classic shirts and blouses.
A beautiful pale lilac shade of linen. I’ve named it Parma Violet after the sweeties as this is part of the Pick ‘n’ Mix Collection!
This shade is also available in our Quintessential Irish Linen 230 range which is suitable for dresses, trousers and skirts.

CARE
It is recommended to always pre-wash your fabric prior to starting your project. I would also recommend overlocking or zig-zagging the cut ends before your wash your fabric to help cut down on fraying in the machine.
Linen is best washed at 30 degrees.
Many recommend not to tumble dry Linen, but if you choose to, do it on a low heat and remove it while it is still slightly damp and iron straight away to minimise creasing.
Lots of steam while ironing will also help remove creases.
