Description
Deadstock fabrics have been sourced directly from fabric mills who produce for designers & clothing brands worldwide. These fabrics are limited supply and once sold out it may not be possible to get more in.
I am able to source deadstock at a reduced rate which I can then pass on to you – so be quick and grab a bargain before they sell out!
Please note that some fabric may have writing on the selvedge. Some fabrics may have slight imperfections in them (such as larger than normal slubs), which will be why they have been sold as deadstock from the mill. The fabric will still be perfect for dressmaking.
Since this fabric is sold to me as a job lot I do not have exact details of each fabric. I have given estimate weights.

CARE
It is recommended to always pre-wash your fabric prior to starting your project. I would also recommend overlocking or zig-zagging the cut ends before your wash your fabric to help cut down on fraying in the machine.
Linen is best washed at 30 degrees.
Many recommend not to tumble dry Linen, but if you choose to, do it on a low heat and remove it while it is still slightly damp and iron straight away to minimise creasing.
Lots of steam while ironing will also help remove creases.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to the nature of linen, there may be the occasional slub in the fabric. I will do my best to cut your length of fabric to avoid any major flaws, but smaller slubs are unavoidable.
