Dark blue washed denim – an absolute classic!
This denim, although quite heavy (8oz, I would call this a mid to heavy weight denim), has been pre-washed by the manufacturer giving it a wonderfully soft feel. It no longer has that rigid structure that some denims would have making so comfortable to wear and giving it a beautiful, soft drape. However, it is still 8oz, so of course there is still a decent weight in this fabric – it will hold pleats and gathers well.

There is no stretch in this fabric.

CARE
Even though this is a ‘washed’ denim, it is recommended to always pre-wash your fabric prior to starting your project. I would also recommend overlocking or zig-zagging the cut ends before your wash your fabric to help cut down on fraying in the machine. Wash separately the first few times incase of colour run.
