- Viscose & Drape (Woven)

Viscose (sometimes referred to as Rayon) is a manufactured fibre made from natural material such as wood. Because of that it is as breathable and easy to wear as other natural fibres such as cotton, linen and silk. It has a wonderful drape which lends it’s self beautifully to dresses, skirts and blouses. But because of it’s drape it can be a little ‘shifty’ to work with, so do take extra care! Sharp pins and a fine needle can help, as can using a rotary cutter and mat when cutting out. Viscose is one of my absolute favourite fabrics to work with and wear.
