YOUR PROJECT:

Christmas Bunting!

In our workshop, we’ll craft delightful festive bunting using pre-printed panels featuring enchanting holiday designs. These double-sided flags yield remarkably professional results, sure to leave you in awe of your handiwork.

Depending on your sewing pace, you can create up to 20 double-sided flags during the class. No need to fret if you can’t finish them all on the spot; we provide ample binding and remaining flags for you to complete the project at your leisure in the comfort of your own home.

You Will Learn:

  • how to pivot & turn out sharp(ish!) corner points
  • how to use a pre-printed burning panel
  • how to attach binding and sting your binding together

Please note that you will need to have basic knowledge of using a sewing machine for this workshop.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • A pre-printed fabric panel of festive bunting (enough to make 20 double-sided flags)
  • Enough cotton webbing to bind your 20 flags
  • Use of the excellent class sewing machines and all sewing tools required
  • Tea, coffee, mulled punch and festive treats!

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

  • Nothing!

SKILL LEVEL:

Level 1 – You will need to know how to wind a bobbin, thread up the machine and sew basic seams.

If you are a complete beginner please book the Sewing Taster Workshop – find out more here

This project is also great for those more experienced who would like to spend a festive afternoon crafting with others!
