Our Story: Threadquarters was born out of a deep-seated passion for dressmaking and fabric. Suzie, the founder, caught the sewing bug in 2009 when her parents gifted her a sewing machine on her 29th birthday. From the moment she stitched her first piece, Suzie knew she had found her calling. Starting with small projects like bags and skirts, she soon ventured into the art of dressmaking, and her creativity knew no bounds.
After years of dreaming about sharing her love for sewing with others, Suzie finally took the leap to turn her vision into reality. Combining her expertise in sewing and her admiration for Ireland’s rich fabric history, she established Threadquarters – a haven where she could not only offer her knowledge through sewing lessons but also showcase the finest fabrics crafted on the island of Ireland.
Our Sewing School: At our charming studio located on Main Street in Bangor, Northern Ireland, you’ll find a nurturing environment where learners of all backgrounds can explore the art of sewing.
